22 gauge steel (Stronger steel than the one normally offered on the market : 24 or 26 gauge) (1)

Reinforcement of screw in top hinge on the door frame to provide a more effective opening cycle.
Anodized aluminium sill (protective coat that will increase the durability of the sill and prevent oxydation)(argent, bronze et laiton) (3)
Double weatherstrip system with a choice of colors to create an aesthetic match with the door. Provides superior airtightness. (4)
Security plate on the door frame to provide added strength to the dead lock of your handleset.
1 1/2'' thick door frame assembled with screws at head and sill level to increase its strength.(5)
Vinyl edge cap all around the door slab (6)
Ball bearing hinges, standard or decorative (option) with a wide choice of available finishes that will complement your handleset and/or stained glass model
Superior bottom sweep weatherstrip without apparent screws. (7)
Thermal break ,gray or brown color. (8)
Wide choice of frame cladding in PVC or aluminum to complement your door finish. An extruded aluminum frame is an available option (9)
Door jamb prepared to receive handleset insallation, with handleset plates factory installed for a flawless finish.
Committed to meeting the highest standards for energy and efficiency, Portatec is working with the government and its ENERGY STAR program. When installed correctly, Portatec doors systems can meet the ENERGY STAR requirements from Zones A, B and C.
